Former international Etim John Esin has cried out for help over a recurring knee ligament injury, he suffered during his active days on the national team.
Etim was a phenomenon who played for the Flying Eagles and Super Eagles.
Esin called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to intervene by footing his medical bills either here in Nigeria or abroad.
According to another ex-player Harrison Jalla, “Etim’s situation is one in countless abandoned ex-internationals all over the country. This ugly scenario will be a thing of the past when the Footballers bloc takes over command and control of football Administration in the country.”
